About the experience

With 25 years of experience in traditional Chinese cuisine in Hong Kong, USA, Switzerland and the UK, Ding Chu decided to start a new chapter by opening his first Hare and Tortoise restaurant in Bloomsbury shopping centre in 1996. The concept was for a casual dining restaurant serving tasty dishes with an authentic flavour. He carefully selected the best quality ingredients to produce the freshest food for hungry Londoners on the go. With his wife Yvonne on board as a Business Manager, Hare and Tortoise now has expanded across 6 locations throughout London. Upholding their principles of always go the extra mile to evolving the service and quality of the food to fulfil customer’s dining experience at Hare and tortoise.
