Our newest opening on Hackney’s Broadway Market, Koya Ko is the more casual, fast-paced ‘little sister’ to Koya Soho and City - and very much part of our Koya family. Ko has a whole new menu to eat-in, takeaway and deliver; savvy ordering system and room for tachi-gui (standing while dining), but retains Koya’s roots with freshly made udon and dashi at the heart.
@londonxldn If you’re looking for a hidden gem Japanese spot then you need to try this place. Tucked away in Broadway Market in Hackney, this is Koya Ko. They already have a cult following at their other locations so they describe their Hackney location as the more casual, fast-paced ‘little sister’. Their menus consist of dishes with freshly made udon noodles and dashi, alongside our weekly blackboard specials menu. We got the prawn tempura udon, the ten-Don which is prawn and veggie tempura on a bed of rice, a large portion of chicken kara-age and a fresh namayasai green salad. You could definitely tell the udon was handmade with love and the chicken had this insane green onion sauce on top. We had to try their dessert which is this soybean ice cream sandwich with a sugar syrup and it was the perfect palate cleanser. So if you’re a fan of authentic Japanese food then make your way down to Koya Ko asap! #koyako #hackney #broadwaymarket #londonxlondon #londonfoodiespots #londonrestaurants
