About the experience

The name ``Efes`` is derived from the ancient city of Ephesus, near modern-day Selcuk in the coastal region of Izmir. In its day, Ephesus was famous for the nearby Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It was also home to Lady of Ephesus, whose figure is the inspiration behind our logo. Our first restaurant opened in central London in 1974. Since then, our family-run business has continued to place value in the quality of our ingredients and remain dedicated to bringing the finest flavours of Turkey to your plate.
